Rebecca, I remember a previous post that a visitor found storage at the bus station, so I called to see if still available, and it is. Lockers are $3 for the first hour and $1 per hour after that. It's difficult to find storage short term because of security/liability, esp. since 9/11. If you are staying at a hotel, they will often keep your luggage for you short term.
Material: steel is the traditional material; but wood, plastic, or laminate are sometimes used. Plastic or laminate lockers are sometimes advocated in environments, such as near swimming pools, where moisture accumulation may cause steel lockers to rust over time. They can also be used in external applications where internal space is not available.
Public lockers are available on all floors of the Anderson Academic Commons for short-term storage needs.  Lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.  To use a locker, enter a 4-digit personalized code for locking and unlocking.  Directions for setting the 4-digit code are located inside each locker.  Lockers unlock automatically after 24 hours.
With the same standard features as the Traditional line, the Traditional Plus Collection is intended for more rugged applications. Available in single-, double- or triple-tier configurations, this collection features 14 gauge doors with 16 gauge full-height reinforcement channels, frame-secured 11 gauge frame hooks with protruding padlock hasps, and a maintenance-free, single-point latching system.
In schools without lockers, students are sometimes provided with two complete sets of textbooks, one set being kept at school for use in class, and the other being kept at home for referring to for homework, thus limiting the amount of heavy carrying that would otherwise be required without having lockers to store them in between classes.[1] However, research has shown an increase in the incidence of back injuries in some students, which has been directly attributed to the lack of lockers for storing books in, thus forcing students to spend more time carrying heavy loads of books in backpacks.
“In many cases, they’re [homeless] building things like little shanty towns, bringing furniture in and camping out. There have been incidents at night where there have been brawls or loud arguments happening at 3, 4 a.m. waking people up. I do know that several neighbors have complained that they have found human waste in their yards,” said Romero.

The storage lockers were a “pilot,” the kind of small test that city government frequently uses to test a new or controversial idea. The city offered up the lockers for individuals to use for months-long stretches. At the time, city officials warned that “misuse of the lockers, vandalism, or other unanticipated results,” could force them to cancel the project.

Clean/dirty lockers normally have two or three parts within the locker. One part is meant for dirty or clothes that are worn, and the other side for clean clothes. These lockers are meant for hospitals or other medical workplaces where it is useful to keep work and personal clothes apart to reduce the risk of infection. These lockers are also useful for factories where work clothes can become dirty and it can be very useful to keep them apart from personal clothes.
Just so you know I have tried to call and email and left multiple messages trying to find some middle-ground and give him an opportunity to make amends as I know how determinantal negative online reviews can be for a business but they have not returned a single call or email and know that we are back in FL and she has lost/had stolen many, many expensive and sentimental things we have no choice but to share our story so that know on hopefully ends up having a similar experience.
